Year 11 - Spanish
Course Description
This course builds on the skills acquired over Years 9 and 10. Students widen their vocabulary and extend their understanding of structures in a systematic way. The essential aim is to increase the student's competence in reading, writing, speaking and listening to Spanish and to build their confidence in using the language to communicate in everyday situations.
Course overview
11 Spanish is made up of Levels 5 and 6 of the New Zealand curriculum. The topics covered include:
- Holidays
- School and education
- Around town/shopping
- Daily life
- Work
- The neighbourhood
Pre-requisites
Students should have completed the Year 9 and Year 10 courses, or their equivalent.

$20 - Language Perfect vocabulary licence
