Year 7 - Food Technology
Course Description
Students will develop an understanding of basic food and nutrition elements such as design a process for a practical, develop plans of actions, nutritional issues affecting the health of New Zealand, planning and using a range of cooking techniques. They will be competent with many different techniques, and have knowledge of health safety when preparing food. They will also develop a more keen understanding of their culture and environment of New Zealand food.
