Year 8 - Textiles

This course provides students with the opportunity to further develop their confidence in the textile classroom using specific classroom equipment confidently and independently. They will create specific samples on the sewing machine as well as learning about an applied design application. They will use these skills to create a final product. By the end of the rotation students will be able to explain the benefits and limitations of sampling compared to constructing the final outcome.
