Year 8 - English (Core)

In Year 8 we focus on the writing of persuasion, information, biographies and narrative.  Our reading encompasses reading for information, close poetry reading for text feature analysis, a novel study for the elements of narrative and general reading comprehension and fluency.  There is also opportunity to deliver formal speeches, engage in class debating and practice public speaking during our Chapel services.
