Level 2 - Spanish
Course Description
This course offers students an opportunity to extend their knowledge and interest in Spanish language and culture. The emphasis will be placed on using the language to communicate at a deeper level on the topics studied. The student's competence in the four language skills is developed and they acquire a rich and interesting vocabulary in a number of topic areas.
The Level 2 course is based on Level 7 of the New Zealand languages curriculum which offers a wide variety of topics. The Level 2 course will be based on themes chosen from topics including, but not limited to:
- Healthy lifestyle
- New experiences
- Art as a way of life
- Community
- Our planet
- Identity
Pre-requisites
Students should have completed Year 11 Spanish or the equivalent.
