Year 7 - Design and Visual Communication
Course Description
This course focuses on developing essential design and technological skills through three-dimensional drawing, idea generation, CAD modeling, and outcome evaluation. Students will learn to accurately represent objects using various 3D drawing techniques, gather and refine ideas for creative solutions, and use CAD software to model and visualize their designs. Through a structured technological practice approach, students will develop, test, and evaluate their outcomes to ensure they meet functional and aesthetic requirements. By the end of the course, students will have the skills to create well-informed, high-quality design solutions that align with industry standards.
