Level 2 - Chinese
Course Description
This course continues on from Year 11 Chinese and builds on the skills acquired at junior and senior level.
The range of grammar and vocabulary increases in its complexity, allowing not only for more in-depth and sophisticated communication but also for increased learner independence.
Course overview
NCEA Level 2 Chinese is made up of Levels 6 and 7 of the New Zealand Curriculum. The topics covered include

- Continuing education
- Tourism in China
- Health and lifestyle
- Life abroad
Pre-requisites
Students should have completed Year 11 Chinese or the equivalent.
