Course Description
This is a core course for English as an Additional Language learners only
Course objectives
- To develop strategies that help to improve reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
- To focus on consolidating and increasing vocabulary and grammar knowledge
- To support EAL students to participate with greater confidence and success in their mainstream subjects
This course focuses on improving general English skills through a balanced, interesting and fun approach to learning activities. The course will support EAL students to participate with greater success in their mainstream courses.
Pre-requisites
Entry is approved by the Head of Faculty: language and is based on testing and samples of student’s work.
