Level 2 - Theology and Philosophy
Course Description
Developing on prior study in Christian thought and theology, students will engage with worldview concepts such as morality and truth within the fields of ethics, law and religion. Discovering and investigating how common these aspects are within every aspect of professional and personal life, students will observe how ethics will need to be incorporated more into AI engines for use in our everyday life.
Students will cover the development of faith formation and religious thought since the age of the Enlightenment, tracing key changes in tradition, particularly in Christian tradition within the 20th century. With a focus on the philanthropic nature of religious institutions, students will consider examples of contemporary social actions and how they affect societies.
