Level 2 - English Language and Literature
Course Description
This language and literature course is designed to help students earn the credits that are required for University Entrance literacy. Students will be supported to develop and improve key skills in reading, written and oral communication, and critical thinking.
Note: if you are intending on studying English at Level 3, you should select the English Literature course.

Pre-requisites
Entry is at the discretion of the Head of Faculty. Students choosing this course are expected to have a minimum of Mostly At the expected level grades for assessments in Year 11 English

English leads to most tertiary courses, especially arts, journalism, management studies, law, education, or medicine. This can lead to careers in: writing, teaching, journalism, communications, human resources, or publishing. Skills are developed in researching, communicating, analysing, evaluating, comprehending and interacting.
