Course Description
This course provides an opportunity to explore New Zealand nutritional issues through an ethics and advertising perspective in a state of the art hospitality facility.
The practical sessions allow students to select and develop solutions to outcomes using their individual creativity.
Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites for this course.
Notice of risk - students of technology courses should be compliant with all health and safety guidelines to protect themselves and others. Students failing to do so could be removed from the course.
Course Specific Costs
$70 per term (approximately) - These are estimated on current food prices and may fluctuate.
Pathway
The food industry is traditionally one of the largest employers in the world. This course offers a pathway into health services, dietetics, sports nutrition, community and social services as well as developing personal/individual cooking skills.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
